Job description



As the Commercial Manager your role will include but not be limited to:

Measuring and describing M&E and construction work including the preparation of tender documentation and negotiation with contractors
Preparing and using detailed budgets and cost plans
Preparing and interpreting turnover / cash flow projections and profit / loss forecasts
Undertaking the valuing of variations and potential variations
Preparing interim applications for payment
Preparation and presentation of financial control / WIP documentation
The preparation and agreement of final accounts
Management and control of major projects within the construction and related industries
Deal with significant contractual issues including extensions of time, loss and or expense claims, terms and conditions etc
Achievement of personal fee billing target
Recruitment / selection of members of staff
Manage and develop subordinates, potentially including junior management, to a designated fee billing target (dependent on team)
Assist in development of regional business plan and play an effective role in its execution
Generate new business sales for the organisation through marketing and retaining clients
